You might recall the Levens Family who recently had their family portraits taken by von Maedler Photography at Shorncliffe Pier. For their latest family shoot, I visited their family home to set up our portable photography studio.
Their three children were so energetic and more than too happy to smile for me as I took their photos. What I really like about our portable studio is that it allows me to visit our clients in the comfort of their own home, which helps to create a more relaxed, and familiar, environment for the family members.
However, when I do take family portraits on location I like to ensure that it is a special place to the family, and somewhere that the children are also familiar.
