This is one of the many gorgeous photos I recently took of Emilley at her Brisbane maternity shoot. It is such a brave thing for a pregnant woman to do as it during this time most of us women feel a little insecure about our figures.
I think that Emilley held her poses confidently as we photographed beautiful portrait photos of her in the later stages of pregnancy.
This is a classic pose for maternity photography, with one hand at the top of the belly and the other hand placed at the bottom of the belly.
I have found that between 32 and 36 weeks is the best time to photograph a pregnant woman. There is so much that you can do with the pregnant form to make it look feminine, gorgeous and to accentuate the natural curves.
Shooting the profile of their body really emphasizes the pregnancy shape, and if you ask them to put a little weight into their back hip it adds a nice curve to their body.
Here are some other great pointers for maternity photographs.
